What a Design Consultation involves
Comfortably sitting down 1:1 (preferably with a brew!), virtually or in the comfort of your own home if you are local to us (an additional fee is applied, depending on location, if we do a home visit)
We firstly discuss your thoughts and ideas and observe any material samples or such like that you have obtained so we can get a feel of your likes and dislikes and your general ideas for the finished look.
We look at & discuss the colour scheme you have chosen or suggest a scheme we think may be suitable if you are struggling to land on a colour scheme you like. We discuss how the colours interact with the space depending on the rooms direction and advise you on the best solutions for your room based on natural lighting and other elements that will influence how it looks.
We look at furniture, furnishings, flooring finishes, and the small things like cushions and throws and even incorporating things such as media walls and fires, nothing is off the table in discussions. You have 1 hour to pull everything out the bag to discuss with us to ensure you are clear and concise moving forward.
After the appointment we do a full follow up of everything we have discussed and email it across to you (usually within 2-3 days) so you can refer back to it throughout your project and continue to feel reassured and inspired.
We can offer recommendations of where to purchase items we think will compliment your space and advise the best paint finish to use based on the room, condition of your walls and/or item you are decorating.
We can provide layouts, elevations and links to shopping items (fixtures & finishings schedule (FF&E)) if required to further assist your vision (these are individually charged extras and need to be discussed at the appointment so any measurements can be taken to enable a more accurate plan etc and are to be paid for prior to delivery).
